About us

Andy & Evie who operate K-9 Spirit believe in offering their dogs the complete freedom to express their natural abilities. Stimulating them both physically and mentally thus enjoyong a wonderful bond and relationship with their dogs mostly gained through training and excerises that envolve trust, confidence building, communication, teamwork and above all fun.
Having retired their dogs, Storm, & Skye from agility, Andy & Evie felt it was important to give them something more stimulating than just walks in the park, so they devised exercises and routines to suit their dogs as they progress into the later stages their lives.

Andy and Evie have adopted this philosophy at K-9 Spirit.

All of the exercises and training classes at K-9 Spirit are undertaken with the dogs age, breed and health in mind and routines and classes can be devised that can offer the right amount of stimulation and physical effort for your dog. Many of the short exercises used in agility can be carried out by you at home or out on a walk with your dog.

Both Andy & Evie have spent many years working with dogs and have encountered many a challenging situation, most of these coming from their own dogs, who are by no means perfect.
